Seven Oaks School celebrated 32nd Founders’ Day with grandeur, fun and frolic on 14th October 2025, where a full house was enthralled by a magical evening of performances presented by students and teachers.
The Chief Guest was Ms. Abhilasha Bisht. A native of Dehradun, Ms. Abhilasha Bisht, holds an Honours Degree in Political Science from Delhi University, Master’s Degree in Political International Studies and M. Phil. Degree in International Politics, Organization and Disarmament Studies from JNU. Ms. Bisht is Director General of Police and Director, Telangana Police Academy.
Ms. Abhilasha Bisht was recruited to the Indian Police Service in the year 1994. She served as Additional SP and SP in districts like Anantapur and Kadapa during the year 2000 and 2003. She served in the Peace Keeping Mission UNMIK in KOSOVO as part of the Indian peace keeping contingent. Later she came on deputation to Uttarakhand and worked as DIG Law, Order and Security. She has also served in UNICEF in Liberia and Sudan as the Country Security Advisor.
Her inspiring and enlightening words set the tempo for the evening. ‘Jodi tor daak shune keu na ashe tobe ekla cholo re’ – Tagore was the key message of her speech. She inspired students to find their uniqueness, build on their potential, and not to kill their time over frivolous attractions of the web. She concluded by motivating students and parents not to bother about who stays with you and who doesn’t; to find your individual path and lead yourself to success.
Dr. S. Ganguli, the Chairman of the School gave the welcome speech. He also spoke of modern time parenting and inspired students to spend quality time with parents and grandparents. He congratulated Ms. Subhui Siddiqui for taking charge as the Principal of the school.
The annual report was given by Ms. Subhui Siddiqui, Principal, Seven Oaks School.
Ms. Shreya Mukherjee felicitated Ms. Subuhi Siddiqui for successfully completing 25 years with the organization.
The evening got filled with colours by dance drama, Maharani Jodha Bai based on the Mughal period. The play was directed by Mr. Abhishek Sharma, Mrs. Bandana Gupta and Mrs. Shailja Dangwal The dances were choreographed by Mrs. Neelam Thapa. Mrs. Lina Banerjee, Mrs. Shikha Bhattacharya, Mr. Puneet Negi and Mr. Hemant Katha composed and produced the music and songs.
The mesmerizing and tranquil evening came to an end with the vote of thanks given by Mr. Devansh Gupta, School Captain, Seven Oaks School.
