Earth Day ( 22nd April 2022)
“Earth is the place where flora and fauna co- exist and maintain the ecological balance.”
To honour this harmonious existence with all the creatures and to save the existing resources, Earth Day is celebrated on 22 nd April.
Seven Oaks School celebrated Earth Day by organising various events.
The students of the Senior School participated in an Inter – House Group Discussion (English and Hindi) on the topic ” Conservation of Natural Resources, Sustainable Living” The English Group Discussion was anchored by Jatin Singh Kandari, the Head – Boy and Hindi Group Discussion was anchored by Maitri Goyal, the Head – Girl. There was an Inter – Class Art Competition on the topic ” Save the Earth”
The students of Middle School had four Speeches in English and Hindi and the topic for the speeches was “Save Mother Earth.”
There was an Inter – Class Art Competition on the topic “Save the Earth.”
The Computer Students showcased their talent through Power Point Presentation.
All these Competitions helped the students to learn and explore about Earth. They learned to be more sensitive towards the existing problems of deforestation, pollution extinction of flora and fauna etc.
